How to connect your SR8918W or SR8905W IP Cam to WiFi
The camera can work wireless, initial setup requires an Ethernet connection so that you can provide the camera with your Wi-Fi credentials. You can setup the Wi-Fi credentials through web-based browser (Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer supported) or software(CMS-Central Management Software) that comes with the camera.
Setup through web-based browser: 3 steps to connect cameras to a wireless network
From the download package, use IP Camera Search Tool to login your camera first. Go to Device Management ---> Wireless LAN Settings. Enable Using Wireless LAN” and click the Scan button, camera will find all the wireless networks around.
Click the wireless network of your router in the list, the corresponding information (Network type, SSID & Encryption) will be filled automatically. Then you just need to input the share key of your wireless network. Note:
1. Have a check if the Network type, SSID & Encryption are filled correctly; 2. Share key should be the same as your wireless password.
Please click on the Submit button, the camera is going to reboot. After the reboot process, wait 10 seconds then disconnect the network cable.
The LAN IP address will disappear on the window of IP Camera Tool when the camera getting restart. Please wait for a few minutes, the camera will get connected to your wireless network. Once it is succeed, the LAN IP of the camera will be found again in IP Cam Tool.

There is the app called Foscam Viewer (App Store for IOS/ Google Play for Android devices), download the app first, and after you install it you will need to go to edit cams then add camera, but you have to do remote service settings.. Here’s the steps on how to do the port forwarding:
① Run the IP Camera Tool and assign an IP address for your camera.
1. The first three numbers of camera’s IP address are the same as your router which the camera is connected. The last number is between 1~255 and it’s unique on this network.( Please refer to your router user manual for the router IP address)
2.Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
3.Gateway and DNS Server are both the IP address of the router.
4. Set a port number for camera.
5.Enter Username and Password. Click “OK” and the camera will reboot once the modification is done.
② Enable UPnP and DDNS. DDNS manufactuer’s default is recommended. For third party DDNS, please refer to the user manual(CD).
③ Configure port ( HTTP port ) forwarding on your router. Port forwarding is mostly on Port Forwarding or Virtual Server section of router’s administration page, it’s up to different routers.
The following is “TP-LINK” wireless router interface. Click “Forwarding”> “Virtual Servers” to setup. For other brands, please refer to your router user manual.
Click on Add New.
Input the camera IP Address and HTTP port number you’ve setted,
now you can access your IP camera by http://domain name:HTTP port via the Internet.
How to setup on Windows 10 with Internet Explorer 11?
The IP Camera is compatible with Windows 10 and IE 11. But there maybe plugin issue when running Windows 10 with internet explorer 11, please follow below steps to add the camera address to the trusted sites of IE explorer 11.
From the download package, run IP Camera Search Tool to find out the camera address
On IE browser settings, enter "Internet options---Security", you will find trusted sites.
Add the camera address to trusted sites, make sure to uncheck Require server verification (https:)for all sites in this zone, also, set the Security for this zone to lowest.
How to fix activeX issue on Windows 7/10 ( “Windows has blocked this software because it can’t verify the publisher” )?
Some people have been having trouble accessing their Skyreo/Foscam Wireless IP Camera using Windows 7/10 and IE. If you are running Windows 7/10 and are having trouble installing the Active X Control Module with Internet Explorer, you are probably getting an error related to the "DVM_IPCAM2 ActiveX Control Module" which states "Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher." If this is happening to you then you can fix it by changing your IE Internet Options as instructed here:
1) Open internet explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options.
2) Click the Security tab -> Custom Level button.
Under ActiveX ensure the following are set to enabled:
- Run ActiveX and plug-ins – Enabled
- Download Signed ActiveX Control – Enabled
- Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting – Enabled
Set the following to “Prompt”:
Download unsigned ActiveX Control – Prompt
Initialize and script ActiveX controls not mark as safe – Prompt
3) Click OK and Apply and OK. Restart the browser.
Do I need any additional software to see the image from PC? Or just Explorer with ActiveX?
You have everything you need with Internet Explorer and ActiveX, but software that comes with the camera both for Windows and Mac offer more flexibility and better performance.
How to reset Skyreo camera?
To restore factory default, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
How do I set up the motion sensor and have emails sent when motion is detected?
There are two steps to complete the configuration of this feature. 1. Setup mail service settings Before you set, please make sure that your email for sender support SMTP. Please set as below picture.
Note 1: Please click Submit before you click Test button. Note 2: Make sure test result is succeed.
After test succeed, you will receive a test email in the mailbox of receiver.
2. Setup the alarm service settings Please set as picture 3 below.
Do not forget to click submit after finish these settings. If there is motion trigger, camera will alarm and you can receive email alert.
NOTE: ◆If you set scheduler, camera will only alarm and send pictures during the time you set when motion trigger. ◆If you do not choose scheduler, camera will always alarm and send pictures when motion triggered at any time.
Insert a memory card in your camera and connect it via USB to your computer. Turn the camera on so it is identified as an external drive.
Copy the firmware file in the root of the memory card.
You can also perform this operation using a memory card reader.
Once the firmware has been successfully copied, disconnect the USB cable or put the card back in the camera.
5 seconds after turning the camera on the upgrade will start.
Once it's finished the camera will turn itself off.
Turn it back on to start using the new firmware.
Warning do not turn off the camera or remove the battery during the upgrade process, as this can permanently damage the camera. Make sure the battery has at least 50% of capacity left before you try upgrading.

How high can drones fly?

Can I fly a drone above the sea?
